So, apparently no one listens to the creator when she states, point
blank, that she doesn't appreciate the spamming of her guestbook. Well, since no one could be bothered to behave like a decent
human being, the guestbook has been removed from this site. It's unfortunate, because I actually had some really nice entries
from people, but I'm not going to tolerate that level of rudeness. So, sorry, you guys blew it.
Yay! It's updates! I'll try to be regular with this but don't get
your hopes up. I'll be the first to admit I'm more than a little scatterbrained.
26, July 2007- The site is over 2 years old, the guestbook has been removed, and there's
a brand new feature on the "Supernatural" page. So head on over to my home of weirdness and spooks, and educate yourselves
about Tele- and Psychokinesis.
2, April 2007- Added "Ghosts" feature to "Supernatural" page. Pemier of the "Kripke-tastic"
preamble.
2, April 2007- Lot's changed since I last worked on this site, and not much to add. I
put a new link in the "links" section. It leads to this nifty 3D chat called IMVU, and if you sign up from that link, they'll
give me credits that I can use to buy neat stuff. So help a girl out, will ya?
-Add on: Okay, wow, been a long time since I read my guest book. I use to look in it,
like, everyday hoping someone contributed, and now I kinda wish y'all would ignore it. Seriously, I really don't appreciate
the spamming. Some of the entries are really thoughtful and sweet, and one even offered some nice constructive critisism (which
I am going to consider). But, guys, I'm just some girl who wanted to share her interests with the net, and I really don't
appreciate people spamming my guestbook. If you're not going to be respectful, there's really no point in signing to begin
with. I'd appreciate it if you'd be a little more courteous in the future.
3, September 2006- Gone, gone, bye-bye. I've removed the "Characters" page for a very
simple reason: I no longer play those characters. And, due to the temporary nature of RPG's in general, there will not be
a new page for my current RPG characters. Of which, there are two. Or three, if you count minor characters. Hey, if you want
to know about creating characters, then why not search out some role playing games of your own? I highly reccomend furcadia.com for fun and community and a graphical presentation. (Yay pictures!)
2, September 2006- Alas, school is a mere four days away. Too bad. Okay, I don't have
any new content for you today, but there is a matter that has come to my attention. Yes, it would appear that there is another
guestbook signer in the tradition of andrea-andy who deserves special recognition.
This signer goes by the name of "The Unseen One", which is a compelling name to begin with. There's
no one part of his/her signing that caught my eye, like andrea-andy's incredibly sweet compliment,
but rather his/her entire post that stood out. First off, (s)he wrote the whole thing without once abbreviating or netspeaking.
To me, the use of proper grammar, especially in something so prone to netspeak as a guestbook, shows an incredible amount
of courtesy and sophistication. Not to belittle my less classical signers, whom I appreciate immensely, but I did find it
a pleasant surprise. Moreover, when asked to answer the questionaire's "what do you think" question, The
Unseen One wrote:
-Listen Marie. Hold on to your dreams. You'll always
be happy.
What's more, he or she had one of the sweetest and most ethereal (not to mention classically
romantic) parting phrases I've read yet:
-Until we meet in our dreams.
To complete the allure of this individual, anyone who answers the question of "do you
like to read" by asking if there's anything else to do in this world instantly garners my appreciation. All in all, The Unseen One's guestbook entry was exceptional and heartwarming. Unseen
One, should you find yourself back on the site, please feel free to e-mail me. I think I'd enjoy getting to know
you beyond a lovely guestbook entry.
Also, to my many visitors (check out my counter! Over 1000 guests!) Please don't hesitate
to take a look at Fiona's website, the link can be found in her guestbook entry. You'll
find it a fun and exuberant site full of personality and energy. From the music to the glitter, to the brightly colored
fonts and backgrounds, it's a pleasure to see and hear. Very well crafted and extremely fun.
3, July 2006- HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Oh my gosh, I can't believe this site is a whole year old!!!
Thanks to everyone who visited, and here's hoping for more content this year!!!
23, July 2006- Snakes added to Animals page. Hssssssssss......!!! And, wonder of wonders!
I finally managed to find a scroll box html!!! Yay!
-Special Note: My good friend Chelsea Parker is
officially the very first to contribute to Creations! You can see her work under "Sorrow" as well as here, at her personal website. Enjoy!
14, May 2006- Hooray! The Supernatural page is back up...however there is. No. Content.
Mainly, 'cause I'm lazy and I don't feel like sorting through my cranium and the internet to find a bunch of info about stuff
that may (and probably does), or may not exist. And one more thing: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
23, February 2006- Hey, two updates in three days! How's that for a miracle? Well, sharks
have been added to the animals page. Enter at your own risk. Also reversed order of updates section. I have a sneaking suspicion
that people don't read through all of the milestones of this site's brief history, so I'm trying to grab their attention.
21, February 2005- Okay, you try to maintain a website when school's in session and you
have absolutely no idea what the heck you're doing! Speaking of which, can someone please e-mail me with instructions on how
to add a scroll box to a page? Tripod won't let me do it without screwing with the html, which I have no freakin' idea how
to do. So if someone could give me the html code and where to put it, that'd be great, 'cause this update section is getting
pretty long and it's taking up way too much page space. Anyway, on to updates: Two Cat-themed links were added today, absolutely
no work has been done to salvage the supernatural page 'cause I simply don't feel like it, and I might get around to adding
a new and exciting creature to the animals page.
-Special Note: Here's a special shout-out to andrea-andy who
gave me an awesome and really kind message in my guest book:
"Tell me what you think: as soon as i saw it i thouht this person
is a genius"
Thank you so much! That's really nice of you to say! I may not actually agree with you
there (check my report card), but I really appreciate the compliment. You see you guys? It does pay to sign my guest book.
I might just give you a happy little nod in the updates page, to let everyone know how cool you are!
15, October 2005- Yeah yeah, two months with not update is pretty pathetic. But hey, I
did warn you! Anyway, I had a really cool update for all of you, but unfortunately a stupid mishap has resulted in the deletion
of the entire Supernatural webpage...which didn't have much content in it to begin with. Anyway, now I have to redo the whole
thing from scratch. Sorry.
3, August 2005- Added Ghosts page to Paranormal, no content yet, but there is a new "Ask
Railey" form where you can send your spooky queries to a very good friend of mine who knows all about the things that do more
than just go bump in the night!
1, August 2005 - Wow! I had no idea how long it's been since I've worked on this thing!
Anyway, added Paranormal page to navigation bar. It's awesome, but it isn't finished yet. I still need to make corresponding
pages. Right now, though, I'm way to tired. Oh! And there's a new blog, too.
5, July 2005 - Added "Wolves" section to animal page.
4, July 2003 - Happy Independance Day! With that out of the way, reformatted character
page (now with pictures!), added viewer-created page. We're getting there. Soon this site will actually look semi-complete.
Later same day- Revamped website with a whole new look, now the pages actually have personality! Anyway, phase one of the
website's publication is oficcially complete! Woo Hoo!
3, July 2005 - Site goes up for the very first time. Happy B-day! Later same day, Birds
of Prey added to animals page. |
